“If you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else”

Sorry everyone, we're cramped with work at the moment and didn't find much time to share cookies with you. Nevertheless we're back. As usual some deep, funky and progressive tunes.

To begin with, a great remix of Marvin Gaye's 'If This World Were Mine' . The big deep gives a very modern perspective to the song and the samples included  dives a great modern touch to this great song.

This second song is my current pic of the month (C), a lot of soul and funk, slowing down the BPM was a great decision compared with the original.

This last songs is more progressive and was found by F. It  combines successfully two dance classics to create the ultimate party anthem harmony, who would;t dance to that?

Much love, The Cookies

We're BACK!

Of course, Super Bowl.... American culture at it's best, 110 000 000 viewers, extravagance, flashing lights, last minute drama in the game. We'll just remember Madonna's astonishing performance with incredible statistics: 10 245 tweets per seconds during her performance, 70 000 flashlights and 11 000 000 domino's slices sold. God Save America!

Sorry for being away, the past week has been hectic, we've got freshly baked cookies in stock for you, busy week in front of us, looking forward to Justice's tour in England.

First song is stereo clip's remix of Big Jet Plane, massive success with this track, it totally keeps the original vibe and adds a great dimension to it. Stereoclip is a great discovery for us, perfect valentine's music we believe!

This third track is for the party people, great remix of this fantastic song (check out the video, quite well made). Much more progressive than the two previous ones, we love it!

The Skeleton Joins the Dance

Picture credit to our dearest Rapha

This post is all about bringing beats that would revive the ones that passed away. By that we are aiming at sharing songs which could grab an intemporal dimension and be appreciated by all. This picture puts forward many contrasts. The pink, symbol of life and cheerfulness, is being associated with the skeleton and the sewer grill. The skeleton represents death and the second could represent a prison cell and a dark road downwards. So cheer up everyone, there's hope and we're bringing it to you!

Another killer single from the Finish duo Maison & Dragen, this time the perfect Progressive House track to boost your mood and dream of summer! Seems like signing for Armada Music just one year ago was a highly successful move as they now enjoy support from some of the biggest DJ names in the world. Also, keep a look out for their new remix of Martin Solveig’s “Night Out” coming out soon!

This second song was produced six months ago by Flight Facilities (from the Future Classics label). After producing the massive Crave You, they came up with this original song with the signature electronic beats but they added a guitar and a great bass line.

From Slovenia with love

Today’s post is dedicated to the Slovenian producer Gramatik, playing under the Pretty Lights record label. Gramatik is famous for combining everything from funk and jazz to soul and blue with raw hip-hop and electro beats. Gramatik’s newest track is called ‘In My City’ and is an updated version of ‘In My Hood’ from his first album in the Street Bangerz series. Dope tune that hits you right in the soul!

Two of our favourite tracks by Philter, a Norwegian producer. His music has been very popular within the extreme sports culture, and used in loads of ski and snowboard movies.
